Founder's Message

I’m so inspired! We just wrapped up our Second Annual Virtual Speak Love Conference, a tremendous success. Our speakers, who were a group of entrepreneurs, former beauty queens, students, and survivors of dating violence, delivered powerful and emotional stories along with helpful insights. Feedback such as “I could feel the passion and resilience in each of their stories” is what drives me to fulfill my purpose every day. The students learned about dating violence, health and wellness, the latest hair trends, and how to manifest their dreams. Empowered by healthy habits which in turn positively impact their lives, my heart is full for it is clear to me and our Board of Directors that “PREVENTION IS KEY.”

As the founder of WSO and survivor of dating violence, I saw the power in truly loving yourself which means embracing your imperfections, engaging in self forgiveness, recognizing your strengths, setting boundaries, and creating healthy relationships with others. As we move forward into 2021, our events and programs will be centered on empowerment and self-love.
